Surat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address a rally at Khudvel village of Chikhli taluka in Navsari district on June 12, 2022. Though there’s no official word on this, the district BJP chief has confirmed this event.
Khudvel comes under the Vansda assembly seat which is reserved for Schedule Tribe candidates. The venue of the rally is located in Vansda taluka of Navsari district. The seat is presently occupied by sitting Congress MLA Anant Patel.
Vansda voters had voted in favor of BJP in 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha polls but in the last two Vidhan Sabha polls, the voters have voted in favor of Congress.
However Prime Minister Modi’s public meeting shall not be limited to Vansda. The voters, particularly the tribal voters from several districts of South Gujarat will participate in this rally. The Prime Minister had previously addressed a rally in Dahod in Central Gujarat. It also had a large presence of tribal voters.
Navsari is the district from where State BJP chief CR Patil is elected to Lok Sabha. Gujarat is going to witness the regular election of State assembly in December this year. DeshGujarat
