Gandhinagar: The state government has approved building a bridge on the Sabarmati river connecting Sadra village in Gandhinagar and Aluva village of Kalol taluka and expects to complete the bridge before the general elections in 2024.

The target is to complete the tendering process for the Rs 68 crore bridge before the end of June. Because the bridge is a huge project, even if the work on it commences before the code of conduct comes into force, it will be ready only at the time of the General Elections. DeshGujarat
