Keval Joshiyara, son of late Congress MLA joins BJP

Gandhinagar: Keval Joshiyara, son of former Congress MLA from Bhiloda (ST) in North Gujarat and former Health minister Dr. Anil Joshiyara today joined ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Late Dr. Anil Joshiyara passed away on March 14 this year at Chennai based hospital after prolonged illness. 1988 born Keval is B.E. Computer. He is active in politics for last three years. He had campaigned for his late father in year 2012 and 2017 assembly polls. Keval’s wife is Doctor.
Keval Joshiyara joined BJP with 1200 supporters in Bhiloda. He was offered saffron scarf and cap and enrolled into the ruling party by Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil.
Keval said the State Congress chief Jagdish Thakor had called him last evening and pressed him for not to join BJP. Keval said he was joining BJP without putting any condition, as a basic party cadre. He expressed his pleasure over State party chief CR Patil’s first ever visit to Bhiloda to enroll him. Keval said he would enroll more persons from Bhiloda and Meghraj to BJP.
The joining function was held with tribal dances and music in festive atmosphere.
Keval’s father late MLA Dr. Anil Joshiyara had served as state health minister from 1995 to 1997. He had served as Gujarat state congress committee chief from 1998 to 2000 after his defeat from late Upendra Trivedi in 1998 state assembly election. He had achieved victory in state assembly elections of 2002,2007,2012,2017 from congress party from Bhiloda constituency. DeshGujarat
