VMC to procure fire-fighter robot through CSR fund

Vadodara: Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) got a fire-fighter robot through CSR, which can extinguish fire within a distance of 120 feet.
The demonstration of the fire-fighting robot was held at Panigate police station on Thursday. The robot, of a cost of Rs 1.40 crore can shower 2200 litre water within a minute. The worker can watch through the camera of the robot from a 300-meter distance. It can shower water within 120 feet with 7 KG pressure. It can shower water in 3 modes: jet, spray and fog. The robot weighs 320 kgs and it has a battery backup of 2 hours. It is smoke and heat proof. DeshGujarat
