Jagdish Naik, 88-year old, currently living in Vyara, had taught Narendrabhai Modi and his brothers from Class 1 to 7 in the Vadnagar primary school, as per the sources. He expressed his desire to meet PM Modi after learning about his Navsari visit. Naik blessed PM Modi by putting his hand on his head. PM Modi inquired about his health and well-being of his family members.
Jagdish Naik said that he got the same feeling that he used to when he (PM Modi) was young. He became emotional and said that he cannot describe the feelings in words. He said that Modi has proved that it’s the nation and not the person that is important, by giving the slogans of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas.

Jagdish Naik’s grandson Parth had called PMO and sought an appointment after he expressed his desire to meet PM Modi during his Navsari visit. PM Modi called him back and talked with them.
