SIT formed to probe into FIR against Teesta, Sreekumar, Sanjeev Bhatt

Ahmedabad: After formal arrest of Teesta Setalvad and RB Sreekumar, the State police in Gujarat has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by DIG Dipan Bhadran for probe into the FIR filed by city Crime Branch against Teesta, Sreekumar and Sanjeev Bhatt in light of the Supreme Court verdict. Meanwhile the accused Teesta Setalvad and RB Sreekumar were produced in the Metro Court today. The Crime Branch demadned 14 days remands of both accused. The SIT has ATS SP Sunil Joshi and Crime Branch DCP Chaitanya Mandlik as its members. Ahmedabad city Special Operation Group (SOG)’s ACP BC Solanki will be an investigating officer. A lady police inspector and two other inspectors are also included in the team. DeshGujarat
