Vadodara: A stray dog attacked a 5-month old girl, injured her head and licked blood in Samta area of Vadodara.

The stray dog attacked the 5-month old girl Janvi sleeping in a cradle at home. Ashish Bharatbhai Tailor, living in a tenement on the ground floor of Vaikunth Flat in Samta area in Vadodara and working in a private company informed that a dog attacked his 5-month old daughter Janvi when her mother went outside of home at 6 pm.

He said that she went outside only for 5 minutes to get drinking water from the tap near the home. She had kept the door grill open. The dog entered the home and attacked the girl sleeping in the cradle. The dog injured her head and licked blood from the wound. When her mother returned home, she tried to repel the dog but the dog didn’t go. So, she lifted the daughter and came out of home. The girl has been admitted to Gotri medical hospital for treatment.
