Gandhinagar: Leader of Opposition and senior tribal leader of Gujarat Congress, Sukhram Rathwa today while speaking to the media persons here on the sidelines of 16th Presidential polls said that the decision of BJP led NDA to field a tribal woman candidate for the post of the President of India seems a masterstroke.

Rathwa said the decision has been taken considering its possible impact in upcoming State elections of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh – three States with considerable number of tribal voters.

Rathwa however said that there has been no impact of NDA fielding a tribal candidate so far as voting for Presidential election in Gujarat is concerned. DeshGujarat
