50 lakh national flags to be placed during Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The state government has planned to place national flags on over 1 crore homes including 50 lakh in rural areas and 50 lakh in urban areas under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign of the central government.
The central government has planned a Har Ghar Tiranga campaign from 13th to 15th August. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel attended the video conference held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign planned under Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Total 2.5 lakh national flags will be placed across the state at public places such as schools, colleges, government offices, industries, and cooperative unions. The national flags will be provided to the wards of municipal corporations and panchayat ghar in villages. People can purchase national flags from over 50 Khadi Gram Udyog Kendra, Gurjari emporium, shopping malls, bus stations and other public places in the state.
Total 50 lakh national flags will be purchased from the agency decided by the central government. Total 30 lakh national flags will be made available for urban areas and 20 lakh for rural areas. A public awareness campaign will be also run across the state to make the people purchase and hoist national flags on their homes under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
