Surat: The saree merchants in Surat have started an initiative of giving a tiranga free on the purchase of a saree.

The box packaging of the saree will also be tricolored. One merchant has ordered a total of 1 lakh tricolored box packaging. A textile merchant Rajiv Omar said that their consumers are from rural areas. The scheme of a tiranga free with a saree in tricolor packaging received a good response. So, they purchased tricolored boxes and national flags for the sale of 1 lakh sarees. A total of 50 thousand sarees are sold so far, he added.
