Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi will be on visit to Ahmedabad city on August 27. He is likely to address a Charkha Sammelan in which 100s of Charkhas will be spined in a function at Sabarmati Riverfront. The Prime Minister is also likely to inaugurate the new foot river bridge at Sabarmati Riverfront. The new foot river bridge has been named after late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The bridge adds to beauty of Sabarmati Riverfront which was developed during the term of Narendrabhai Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister. The Prime Minister may also inaugurate a Sports park at Riverfront. Ahmedabad City Police has organized an awareness run on River drive West on August 27 evening to create awareness against narcotics. It is not clear at this point whether the Prime Minister will remain present for flag off ceremony for this run.
