Ambaji Bhadarvi Poonam fair 2022 from 5 to 10 September

Ambaji: Ambaji Devasthan Trust and Banaskantha district administration have made arrangements for Bhadarvi Mahamela in Ambaji from 5th to 10th September.

The administrations cooperate with voluntary organizations to make arrangements for devotees such as darshan, rest areas, lunches, and parking. For the planning, a total of 29 official committees have been established.

Schedule

The schedule for the following:

  • Aarti: 5 am to 5.30 am
  • Darshan: 5.30 am to 11.30 am
  • Darshan noon: 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm
  • Aarti evening: 7 pm to 7.30 pm
  • Darshan evening: 7.30 pm to 12 am

A total of 302 CCTV drones are set up for surveillance, including 46 VISHVAS project cameras, 112 permanent drones, and 144 temporary drones for Ambaji village. In Ambaji, the live broadcast will take place on watch tower at 14 locations and 12 locations with LED screens. The facilities of toilet blocks, 70 bathrooms, 139 toilets, 94 urinals, and 208 lockers have been made for devotees.

The Bhadarvi Mahamela is expected to receive more than 25 lakh devotees. There are Prasad Kendras set up at Ambika Bhojanalay, Gabbar Taleti, Diwaliba Gurubhavan, and an additional 7 kendras at Chachar Chok, outside gate No. 7, and in front of Shakti Dwar to provide Prasad to the devotees. A Total of 36 temporary health centres and 15 ambulances will be arranged. The ST department will run 1100 buses of various divisions for devotees. For protection, a total of 6800 police officers will be sent.

A week-long Bhadarvi Poonam Mela of the world-famous Ambaji temple in the Banaskantha district of North Gujarat is a special attraction to visitors. Every year devotees wait for the celebration and Mahamela, which is a combination of power, devotion and nature. Millions of my devotees come on foot to seek the blessings of goddess Amba. At this time many people come here on foot as well.
