Youth of Gujarat won’t give an inch of space for Revdi & Bevdi politics: Tejasvi Surya

Rajkot: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MP and President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Tejasvi Surya on Saturday, while taking a jibe at Arvind Kejriwal here said that the Gujrati youth will not give an inch of space to ‘revdi’ and ‘bevdi’ politics of the AAP. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s national president was addressing a press conference in Rajkot, Gujarat.

“The double-engine government of the BJP is carrying forward the development journey of Saurashtra that PM Modi had stated when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. We all know that before the Modi govt came to power in the state, Saurashtra was always facing water scarcity but then logically the water crisis was solved by the Modi-led BJP government,” said Surya, who represents the Bengaluru South Parliamentary constituency.

“What was once a Gujarat model of good governance, is today known as India model of good governance. And under the leadership of PM Modi India is moving toward development at the highest pace,” he added.

Later in the press conference, Tejasvi took a jibe at the poll promise of Arvind Kejriwal without his mention and said, “It is certain that the youth of Gujarat is resolved to speed up the development march of Gujarat which begun around 30 years ago. It is most certainly clear that the youth of Gujarat will not give an inch of the pious land of Gujarat to ‘revdi’ politics and ‘bevdi’ politics.”

Surya also said that the youth wing is committed to achieving this objective of defeating freebies politics. Discussion about this will take place at the executive meeting in Rajkot as well as in programs of the Yuva Morcha in the next two to three months.”

The young leader concluded by saying that he was fully confident of BJP’s victory in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly election in which Yuva Morcha would play a key role.
