Veraval: The police held an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) cadre in a rape case of a a female in Veraval after calling her and other females for modeling.

The AAP karyakar and former vice president Gir Somnath district congress unit Bhagubhai Vala runs Vishwas Telefilms and has office at Rajendrabhavan road in Veraval. He had called females for modeling. He allegedly raped one of those females in a rented flat. The crime of rape was filed against him in Veraval police at 11 pm on 23rd September.

Other females had also arrived for modelling with the victim. The accused had allegedly taken the victim to a flat. He allegedly raped her by enticing her of fame and money. The police held the accused after taking statement of victim. The arrangement of medical check up of the victim was made. DeshGujarat
