Taranga – Ambaji rail line project; Railway Minister shares status of progress

Ambaji: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav while speaking here today said that thousands of pilgrims from various corners of the country have sent letters to thank the Prime Minister for approval to rail connectivity to Ambaji.
Sharing the latest progress of Taranga – Ambaji railway line project, the Railway Minister said that the tenders for five major bridges are out and the Geo technical survey and design work for 11 tunnels is going on. The design of 15 stations is ready, he added.

The railway department and the administration of the districts are jointly working on land acquisition, he said. The design of Ambaji station is inspired from Ma Ambaji mandir, he said. He added that the PM GatiShakti portal has helped for route alignment.
