PM Gati Shakti Gujarat Portal Launched

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched “PM Gati Shakti Gujarat” portal at seminar of ‘Azadi@75: PM Gati Shakti Gujarat’ held in GIFT city Gandhinagar.
Gujarat has become the first state in the country to launch Gati Shakti portal at state level, he said. The seminar was held for execution of PM Gati Shakti National master plan.

Minister of state for industries Jagdish Vishwakarma said that PM Gati Shakti portal will give new direction to the integrated development of Gujarat in the upcoming time. State government chief secretary Pankaj Kumar said that the PM Gati Shakti Gujarat portal is a powerful tool which will give new direction to ease of doing business along with infrastructure planning. He said that the portal is a full proof system, and accurate data is very important in its implementation. It will be very useful for decision making and its monitoring, he added. It will enable industrial facilitation including land acquisition and inter-departmental integration, he said.
Additional chief secretary of the state government and chief executive officer of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB) Avantika Singh said that it is a GIS based portal which has over 500 layers. It includes over 21 government departments of the state, 52 sub departments and over 25 departments of the central government, she said. DeshGujarat
