AAP Ministers pledges to boycott Hindu gods in religious conversion event: BJP reacts strongly

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party has yet again landed in another controversy thanks to AAP’s Delhi Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam.

In a video going around on the internet, AAP Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam can be spotted participating in an event, where people took an oath, boycotting several Hindu Gods.

AAP minister on Wednesday participated in a function under the aegis of “Mission Jai Bhim” on Ashoka Vijaya Dashami, where more than 10,000 people took a pledge.

Pal can be seen pleading and saying, “I will not consider Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Ram, Krishna and Gauri Ganesh as gods and will not worship them.”

“I will not do Shardh Paksha and will not perform pind daan to my ancestors, I will not speak against Budha Dharma and will not get any rituals performed by Brahmins”, the pledge further said.

According to the sources, the AAP minister did not just go to the event where hate against Hinduism and Hindu Gods spread, but he was also an organiser of this event.

Later in the event, one Buddhism follower said that Hindu Dharam is equal to “narak” (hell) and he invites everyone present to leave the Brahmin Dharam which is hell and thanked the minister for organizing the event.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari  reacted to the video in a press conference said,  “This is an insult to Hinduism & Buddhism. AAP ministers are attempting to incite riots. The minister should immediately be removed from the party. We’re submitting a complaint against him”.

After the video went viral BJP leader and twitter user were quick to point out the difference between Kejriwal and AAP’s stand on Hinduism as per their convenience.

BJP state media convenor, Yagnesh Dave attacked AAP and said, ” I want to ask Kejriwal that his Minister attends these kind of programs but he comes to Gujarat and does the drama of visiting the temples, I also want to ask Gopal Italia to make it very clear what there stand is on this.”

“Secondly, people of Gujarat and country know you very well and if it goes like this it will be very clear that you are here to harm Hinduism and this language will not be tolerated.” BJP leader added.

Senior Journalist Kanchan Gupta tweeted, “In Gujarat Arvind Kejriwal poses as a dharmic Hindu, does puja at temples. In Delhi his Minister AAP leader Rajendra Pal Gautam abuses Hinduism and denigrates Hindu divinities in a horrid hate speech while leading an orchestrated conversion. Kejriwal stands stripped yet again.”
