Indian Coast Guard rescues six Indian fishermen captured by Pakistan Maritime Agency

Gandhinagar: Indian Coast Guard ship rescued six fishermen off the Gujarat coast who were captured by a Pakistani security agency last week.
According to an ICG official, “Indian Coast Guard ship Arinjay helped in freeing six Indian fishermen from Gujarat who were taken captive by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ship Barkat on October 6 after sinking their boat.”

The Coast Guard ship ensured the release of the captured fishermen from the Pakistan boat near the maritime boundary line and brought them back to safety. One fisherman was also saved from drowning near the boat sunk by the Pakistani boat Barkat.” informed the Indian Coast Guard official.
