India and France sign Ahmedabad metro Phase-II agreement

Gandhinagar: A signature ceremony was held yesterday for the Project agreement for the development of the Ahmedabad Metro rail project phase-11 in Gandhinagar.
Ambassador of France to India, Emmanuel Lenain shared pictures of the event on Twitter and wrote ” Proud to witness the signing of Ahmedabad metro Phase-II agreement! Backed by the French Development Agency’s financing of over ₹1700 crores, Phase II will expand the metro towards Gandhinagar. A crucial clean mobility project for fast-growing Gujarat!

It is noteworthy that PM Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Metro train service in Ahmedabad last month.
