Several party men upset after denial of ticket by BJP

Gandhinagar: Yogi Devnath is upset with the party for not giving him a ticket on Rapar assembly seat. Yogi has reportedly resigned from the party. Sitting Naroda legislator Balram Thawani has triggered a narrative that BJP candidate Payal Kukrani has married to the Other Backward Class (OBC) family and therefore she can’t be said a Sindhi candidate, though she is Sindhi by birth. Thawani supporters reached the State BJP headquarters Shri Kamalam to protest. Some BJP office bearers have protested the BJP decision to field Shivabhai Gohil on Mahuva seat of Bhavnagar district. They demand ticket for RC Makwana. Narendra Solanki has collected a nomination form for his candidature from Rajkot. Solanki is upset with the party as he has been denied a ticket. Devjibhai Fatepara, former BJP MP is upset with the party due to the denial of a ticket. Party man Dinumama has made the announcement to contest as an independent on Padra seat of Vadodara district. Former MLA and BJP’s previous candidate during the Bayad by-poll, Dhavalsinh Jhala is reportedly upset after the denial of ticket and will hold a meeting with his supporters. Waghodia MLA Madhu Srivastav has after meeting his supporters made the announcement that he would contest as an independent. Srivastav was denied a ticket by the party. On Nandod seat, former MLA Harshad Vasava has announced his independent candidature against the party’s candidate Dr. Darshana Desmukh (Vasava). Nandod seat covers the Statue of Unity famed Ekta Nagar. Former district BJP chief Jashubhai Patel has made the announcement to contest as an independent candidate for the Visnagar seat. He is the chief of Choryashi Kadva Patidar community’s local outfit. He called a meeting in Kansa to discuss the future path. DeshGujarat
