Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amitbhai Shah who is camping in Gujarat for the State election campaign today attended the nomination filing procession of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel who is BJP candidate from the Ghatlodia constituency in Ahmedabad. Patel had won the last election here with the highest margin. Shah in his speech asked voters to cast vote and get the double benefit of electing not just a local legislator but also the Chief Minister.

“You vote and you get MLA, but here you cast vote and you get MLA and Chief Minister both. So one-time hard work and double benefit,” Shah said. Shah asked cadres to write it down in a diary today itself that BJP is going to win the Gujarat polls with a record-break number of seats.

Ghatlodia assembly seat comes under Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat. Shah said while Bhupendrabhai’s victory is certain, it has to be ensured that he wins with so huge a majority that next time Congress may have to spend two and half months to find a candidate for this seat. DeshGujarat
