Surat: Ahead of the roadshow of Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP workers removed the road dividers in Katargam area at Dhanmora char rasta. As the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) team came to the spot to restore the dividers, the AAP workers entered into goondaism and compelled the SMC staffers to leave the place by fear and force. Later, just before the roadshow, the SMC team reached the spot with a police cover and installed a steel barricade. It’s worth noting that due to the removal of dividers at Dhanmora char rasta, the area was facing huge traffic jams and the locals were facing troubles. AAP workers had removed the divider as they wanted to hold Arvind Kejriwal’s roadshow in the full width of the road. They had submitted an application also in this regard before the SMC.
