Congress appoints fact-finding committee to evaluate Gujarat assembly polls results

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has constituted a Fact-Finding Committee to evaluate the results of the recently concluded assembly elections in Gujarat and suggest measures to be taken, as follows, with immediate effect. The main opposition Congress could win only 17 seats out of a total of 182 in the State assembly elections in Gujarat, its historically lowest performance. The number of seats are not even ten percent of the total seats.
