One dead in fire incident in residential building in Shahibaug area

Ahmedabad: A 15-year-old girl Prachi alias Pranajal died after a fire broke out in a flat on the 7th floor of the Green Arcade residential building in the Girdharnagar-Shahibaug area of the city today morning. While four of the five members living in this flat could come out safely, a 15-year-old was taken out with burn injuries. She died in the hospital later. As many as 15 fire vehicles had rushed to douse the fire in the morning. The call was received at 7.28 am by Ahmedabad Fire & Emergency Service which functions under the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC). In this week itself, 3 persons were dead after a fire broke out in New H Colony-based house in the Shahpur area of Ahmedabad. Before that, a security guard and his wife were found dead in a fire at Modi Eye Care Hospital in Naranpura. All these incidents have taken place within the span of the last ten days. DeshGujarat
