Gandhinagar: Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai will present the annual budget of the Gujarat government in February 2022. The likely date of the budget speech is believed 20th February. Though there’s no confirmation on the exact dates of the budget session of the State Assembly, it is believed that the session shall start on 15 February and continue till the end of the month of March. This will be the first budget of the Bhupendra Patel government after the State assembly election. The budget shall accommodate some promises made in the Sankalp Patra manifesto by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the election campaign.
