PM Modi to inaugurate Jan Jal Abhiyan tomorrow

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating Jan Jal Abhiyan on February 16 via video conferencing. This mission will be carried out by Brahmakumaris in association with the Ministry of Jal Shakti for a period of 8 months.
The Jan Jal Abhiyan aims to conserve and recharge 5000 reservoirs, wells, step wells, and other water bodies in the country. About 10,000 programs such as meetings, conferences, rallies, and seminars will be held to convey the message of conservation. One lakh people are volunteering to reach more than 10 crore people.

The inauguration event will take place at Brahmakumaris’ international headquarters, ‘Shantivan’, in Abu Road. Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, veteran actor Nana Patekar, and Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur will also attend the event. DeshGujarat
