Gandhinagar: On the first day of the budget session, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Amit Thaker who represents the Vejalpur constituency in Ahmedabad made an environmentally conscious entrance to the Gujarat state assembly by riding on an electric two-wheeler from his government quarters in Gandhinagar.

While sharing the video on his social media he said, “Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has been recognized as a global ‘Champion of the Earth’. With his unwavering determination, the country aims to achieve maximum utilization of renewable energy by 2030. In keeping with this environmentally friendly approach, I arrived at the Gujarat Vidhan Sabha on the first day of the budget session, riding a battery-operated scooter.”
