Surat: Due to the work of Non – Interlocking at Udhna Yard in connection with Udhna Yard Remodelling, a block is being undertaken upto Monday 06^th March, 2023. Due to this work, several Western Railway trains will remain cancelled, short terminated/short originated and will be diverted.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, for improving the efficiency of train movement at Udhna Junction, Yard Remodelling work is being carried out at Udhna Junction from Friday, 3^rd March, 2023 to Monday 06^th March, 2023. Presently, Udhna serves as a junction station for Mumbai – Delhi/ Ahmedabad mainline and Udhna – Jalgaon line. The Yard remodelling work has been taken up to decongest the yard.

The details of the affected trains are as under:

i. Train No. 09057 Udhna – Mangluru Holi Special, journey commencing o­n 05.03.2023, will be originating from Valsad instead of Udhna.

ii. With effect from09:00 hrs of 3^rdMarch, 2023 to 09:00 hrs of 6^th March, 2023, all Passenger Trains to/from Tapti section will take 30 – 35 minutes extra as it involves alteration and Clamping of points and o­n authority movement.

iii. All DOWN Trains having halt at Udhna from 09:00 hrs of 05.03.2023 to 09:00 hrs of 06.03.2023 will skip halt at Udhna as all these trains will be received at DOWN Main Line and there is no Platform at DOWN Main Line.

iv. Train No. 09172 Bharuch – Surat Special, journey commencing o­n 05.03.2023, will be preponed by 50 minutes

v. All trains passing through UP & DOWN Main line between Udhna – Surat from 09:00 hrs of 05.03.2023 to 09:00 hrs of 06.03.2023 will be regulated by 30 – 35 minutes.
