Sabarmati- Kevadia seaplane service will resume, assures State govt, date uncertain
March 11, 2023
Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, during the budget session of the state assembly on Friday, announced its intention to restart the seaplane service. However, it did not provide a specific date for the resumption of the service.
In response to a question, the government stated that the service will restart after fulfilling the prescribed procedures. Harshad Patel, the Sabarmati MLA, had asked if the service would be resumed on the same route between the Sabarmati riverfront and Kevadia and when it would be restarted.
The seaplane service had started on October 31, 2020, but was discontinued after a few months and has not been resumed since then. DeshGujarat
