Kerala Governor plays Garba to mark Gujarat Day; Raj Bhavan in Andhra also hosted Garba

Gandhinagar: Various Raj Bhavans across the country from Kerala to North and Arunachal Pradesh to West celebrated the Statehood day of Gujarat and Maharashtra today. This was for the first time that Raj Bhavans celebrated the Statehood Day of other States. The initiative was under the Narendra Modi-led government’s ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ program.
The Governor of Kerala posted his video playing Garba with Gujaratis in Raj Bhavan in Kerala. Andhra Pradesh Governor also posted a photograph of Gujaratis playing Garba in Raj Bhavan. Several other Raj Bhavans also tweeted pictures and videos of celebrations in the presence of the members of Gujarati and Maharashtrian communities.
