Divya Darbar of Dhirendra Shastri in Ahmedabad cancelled after heavy rain
May 29, 2023
Ahmedabad: The Divya Darbar of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, which was supposed to take place in Ahmedabad, has been cancelled due to inclement weather. However, in the latest development, sources have informed that instead of cancelling the event, the organizers have shifted the venue to GMDC Convention Hall near Helmet Char Rasta in the city.
The decision to cancel the event, initially scheduled for two consecutive days, today (May 29) and tomorrow (May 30), comes after heavy rainfall rendered the ground unsuitable for the event.
According to reports, the organizers notified the local police authorities last night about the cancellation of the program due to the adverse weather conditions. The decision was made with the attendees’ safety and well-being in mind.
Despite the cancellation of Divya Darbar, Dhirendra Shastri may still attend the opening of a specially prepared bungalow at Chanakyapuri. The accommodation has been meticulously arranged to provide a comfortable and welcoming residence for Dhirendra Shastri during his stay in Ahmedabad.
Divya Darbar of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri was held in Surat on May 26th-27th where he had expressed “Not only India, but we can also transform Pakistan into a Hindu Rashtra if the people of Gujarat unite.” DeshGujarat
