Ahmedabad to get another oxygen park; Ground breaking on June 5, World Environment Day

Sabarmati: The city will get another oxygen park by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
Marking World Environment Day on June 5th, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel will lay the foundation stone for the oxygen park at Tragad. The oxygen park spans over 24,270 square metres, and the civic body is going to plant approximately 75,000 trees using the ‘Miyawaki’ method. 7,500 trees will be planted in the park on June 5th. The park will offer various attractions for visitors. It will feature ponds, lawn plots, walking tracks, and gazebos. Additionally, an open gymnasium will be set up for fitness enthusiasts, along with designated yoga points. Children will have access to sports equipment within the park.
Mayor Kiritbhai Parmar expresses that the Amdavad Municipal Corporation is committed to expanding the green cover in the city. The construction of this oxygen park is another step towards achieving that goal.
