Light rain is likely in parts of Gujarat on June 3-4

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light thunderstorms/rains in parts of Gujarat on June 3 and 4. Strong surface winds 30-40 KMPH gusting to 50KMPH very likely to prevail over the Gujarat region and Saurashtra-Kutch during the period of June 3 to June 7.
According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the district of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Ahmedabad and Anand; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli and Bhavnagar,” on June 3rd.
On June 4th, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the district of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Ahmedabad, Anand, Dang and Tapi; in the district of Saurashtra namely Bhavnagar. ”
According to the press release, Ahmedabad is likely to witness a partly cloudy sky with thundery development towards evening/ night. The Maximum temperature of the city is very likely to remain at 40 degrees Celsius.
