Five Gujarat IAS transferred

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government transferred five IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officers on Wednesday.
Manisha Chandra, who was serving as the secretary of the finance department (expenditure), has been shifted to the post of the commissioner of rural development and secretary of rural development, panchayat, and rural housing.
K M Bhimjiyani, the secretary of the agriculture department (cooperation, animal husbandry, cow breeding, and fisheries) is transferred and appointed as the secretary of the expenditure finance department.
A K Rakesh, ACS (Additional Chief Secretary) of agriculture, farmers’ welfare, and cooperation, will now also take on the additional responsibility of ACS (cooperation, animal husbandry, cow breeding, and fisheries) in the agriculture department.
Swaroop P, who held the position of commissioner of land reforms and ex-officio secretary in the revenue department, will now also take on the additional role of secretary (appeals) in the revenue department.
Vijay Nehra, the secretary of the science and technology department, will now also take on the additional responsibility of CEO of special projects (Dholera and Mandal Becharaji SIR). DeshGujarat
