Botad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police on Monday nabbed a class one officer in a bribe case involving the bribe money of Rs. 10,000.

According to a note released by ACB, accused Dahyabhai Khodabhai Bhuva (57) is a town planner in Bhavnagar Area Development Authority (BUDA). Dayhabhai is a class-1 officer. Another accused Prakash Chauhan(32) practices as Engineering Consultant. While Dahyabhai lives in Bhavnagar, Prakash Chauhan lives in Botad.

As per ACB, the accused officer had demanded Rs. 10,000 bribe for approval to the petrol pump’s layout plan. The bribe was demanded through a consultant. ACB red-handed nabbed consultant accepting the bribe money on behalf of town planner. The consultant and town planner had conversed regarding the same over a phone call.
