Locals rescue students from a stranded bus in Nadiad amid heavy rain and waterlogging

Kheda: The locals in Nadiad rescued students onboard a college bus that got stuck under the Shrey underpass here in the town due to waterlogging caused by heavy rain.
Heavy thundershowers hit various regions of Gujarat on Saturday, resulting in widespread waterlogging and traffic congestion. In the Nadiad area of the Kheda district, heavy rainfall led to a college bus getting stuck in the flooded Shreyas Underpass with students on board.
Promptly responding to the situation, local residents arrived at the scene and successfully rescued all the students, including females, through the bus windows. Their swift actions averted a potential disaster, ensuring the safety of all the students. A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media.
