Lighthouses in Dwarka, Gopnath, and Veraval transformed into tourism Sites dedicated to the public

Dwarka: Cabinet Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal, dedicated to the public the lighthouse transformed into a tourism site in Dwarka in coastal Gujarat. He also dedicated the lighthouses in Gopnath, and Veraval virtually.
A total of 75 lighthouses are being transformed into tourist sites with the aim of conveying their historical significance to the youths. The works on 21 out of 75 lighthouses have been completed. The lighthouses transformed into tourism sites in Dwarka include musical fountains, an amphitheater, a museum, a souvenir shop, a selfie point, and other facilities for tourists.
The lighthouse in Veraval was dedicated virtually. The 34-meter-high lighthouse was built in 1967. It uses two lenses to increase the reach of the emitted light. It can throw light up to 15 nautical miles (luminous) and 14 nautical miles (geographical). DeshGujarat
