Live: ISRO launches Chandrayaan-3 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota

Sriharikota: Chandrayaan-3 is a mission that follows Chandrayaan-2, aiming to showcase the complete capability of safe landing and rover operations on the lunar surface. The mission includes a Lander and Rover configuration and will be launched from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, using the LVM3 launch vehicle. The propulsion module will transport the lander and rover configuration to a lunar orbit of 100 km. Additionally, the propulsion module is equipped with the Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth (SHAPE) payload, which will conduct spectral and polarimetric measurements of Earth from the lunar orbit.
