Protest erupts at VSNGU as students of Bardoli College barred from taking exam
July 17, 2023
Surat: More than one hundred students staged a protest at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) after being denied permission to sit for their exams in their college.
P.R.B. Arts and P.G.R. Commerce College, which is affiliated with VNSGU, did not allow around 136 students to appear in the examination. The students alleged that they were barred from taking the exam without any legitimate procedure being followed. It has been more than three months, and the reasons for their withdrawal have not been communicated. The students also filed an RTI (Right to Information) request regarding the matter, but received no response. They have submitted their plea to the Vice-Chancellor of VNSGU. DeshGujarat
