Holy month of Shravan in Gujarat to be marked during 17 August to 15 September , 2023

Gandhinagar: The holy month of Shravan as per the Gujarati Hindu Vikram Samvat calendar 2079 will start on August 17 and end on September 15, 2023.
Mondays of Shravan (Shravan Somvar) when Shiv puja take place will be on 21st and 28th August and on 4th and 11th of September.
Nag Panchami will be marked on 21 August while Randhan Chatth shall be marked on 22 August. Shitala Satam will be marked on 23 August.
Nariyeli Punam will eb marked on 30th August. On 30th August after 9.02 pm, Raksha Bandhan will start.
On 31st August, Amar Nath yatra will conclude.
Nag Panchami, Randhan Chhathh and Shitla Satam will be marked in some regions on September 4th, 5th and 6th as well.
Shri Krishna Jayanti, Janmashtami will be marked on September 6th.
Paryushan will begin on 12 September for some and on 13 September for some others.

The festival season after Shravan will continue with celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi and Samvatsari on 19 September, Anant Chaturdashi on 28 September, Navratri starting from 15 October, Vijaya Dashmi – Dussehra on 24 October, Sharad Purnima on 28 October and so on. DeshGujarat
