NSG in Gujarat will get a dedicated campus at Lekawada

A dedicated campus for the NSG (National Security Guards) commandoes will be set up at Lekawada in Gujarat at a cost of Rs 215 crore across 60 acres of land.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of the campus for National Security Guards (NSG) commandos in Lekawada. The campus will be useful for the Western states of Gujarat and Rajasthan mainly.
NSG commandos present in the Strate use the amenities of Gujarat police at present. With a dedicated campus, Gujarat will be the fifth hub for NSG commandos in the country after Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
There are around 100 NSG commandos in the state at present. The new NSG hub at Lekawada will have all the facilities including training and accommodation. DeshGujarat
