Kutch: The security forces recovered an unclaimed explosive device from an uninhabited Syed Sulaiman Pir near the Jakhau coast on Friday night. A similar device had previously been located in the Pingleshwar area here in Kutch.
Late in the previous evening, the State Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Jakhau Marine Police found an intact explosive device during a patrol along the coastal regions of Jackal Creek and Syed Sulaiman Pir Kantha near Jakhau.
The inscription on the device says, “WAR DEVICE.”
It’s worth mentioning that on August 17, an explosive device was found in the Pingleshwar area of Jakhau. Following the recovery of this explosive device, security agencies initiated a comprehensive investigation. The explosive device was examined by a K-9 unit. Additionally, an external team will inspect the explosive device and carry out further investigations to determine if it has already detonated or is potentially at risk of exploding.
It is also noteworthy that BSF has stated that since the middle of April 2023, they have recovered 94 packets of charas off the Jakhau coast. BSF has launched an extensive search of the isolated bits off the Jakhau coast. DeshGujarat
