Surat: Diamond baron Govindbhai Dhoaliya is in latest working on another charity project which involves installation of solar panels atop the residences of over 750 martyrs of Indian security forces, out of which 125 are from Gujarat. So far the systems are already installed atop the houses of 150 martyrs. This will result into saving of costs pertaining to electricity bills for families of martyrs.

Dholakiya had started this initiative on 15th August last year. The initiative is under the banner of SRK Knowledge Foundation. The foundation first collected the data of martyrs and later started paying visit to the families to know their requirements. Dholakiya has gifted solar systems to around 1,000 staffers of his company. He has also arranged solar system for each house of Dudhala village of Lathi taluka in Saurashtra region. DeshGujarat
