September 02, 2023
Ahmedabad: Malaysia Airlines will start a new flight operating connecting Sardar Patel airport in Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur from 1st of December this year.
The flight will operate four days a week. It will take off at 22.40 hours from SVPI airport and reach Kuala Lumpur at 6.45 hours local time for first two days. It will take off at 2.55 am from SVPI airport and reach Kuala Lumpur at 11 am local time during another two days.
Presently there’s no direct flight to Kuala Lumpur available from Gujarat. The passengers therefore need to take flights via Mumbai or Delhi and catch connecting flights to Malaysia.
With the increase in the number of tourists traveling from Gujarat, the passenger footfall at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international airport has crossed 33,000. Because of this, the number of international flights from Ahmedabad airport is also increasing.
Not long ago, new flights from Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi and Jeddah were started. Air Asia has announced the launch of flights from Ahmedabad to Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport. Thai Airways has started Ahmedabad Bangkok daily flight to Suvarnabhumi airport from 1st September. DeshGujarat
