Missing Hindu girl from Surat returns, files kidnapping and rape complaint

Surat: In another case of what can be called Love Jihad, a police complaint has been filed at Amroli police station of Surat over kidnapping and rape of a Hindu girl.
According to police complaint, a 20 years old Hindu girl from Kosad was missing on 26 August evening after she went out of her home. It was later found that a Muslim man who was living in same locality was also missing.
The missing girl had withdrwan Rs. 15 lakh from her mother’s bank account through ATM card since 2021.
The family of missing girl alleged that Irfan Akbar Sindhi (from Kosad gaam, taanki faliyu area) had kidnapped the girl. The police in its investigation found that the victim girl was kept in a village in Badmer area of Rajasthan. She was rescued from there eventually.
The victim girl, aged 20 filed police complaint alleging kidnapping and rape against 23-year old Irfan. Irfan and victim girl were students of a same school. In last two years, Irfan had taken the girl to Ashwinikumar area based guest house, Satadhar char rasta based Oyo hotel and Variyav based Hilton hotel for physical relations. On last 25th of August, Irfan had eloped with the girl by promising marriage, however later no marriage took place.
