Google, Capgemini looking for 50,000 sq ft office space each in GIFT City

Gandhinagar: Major technology corporations, namely Google and Capgemini, are in the process of establishing offices within the domestic region of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City). According to reliable sources, both companies are currently in negotiations with a developer to secure office space in the domestic zone, and an official announcement regarding this development is expected shortly.

It has been learned that Google is planning to establish a fintech product development center in the domestic region, occupying approximately 50,000 square feet of space and initially employing around 500 individuals. This move is expected to make a significant contribution to the zone’s progress.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai had recently announced the establishment of a global fintech center in GIFT City, where specialized fintech teams supporting GPay and other products will operate.

Similarly, Capgemini had recently disclosed its intentions to establish a new office with 500 seats in GIFT City. The company, which has a workforce of nearly 180,000 employees across 13 Indian cities, is also planning to create an office for software product development within the domestic zone, occupying approximately 50,000 square feet of space.
