AMC plans to widen the road from Ahmedabad Airport Circle to Indira Bridge

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to widen the road from Ahmedabad Airport Circle to Indira Bridge to 60 meters.
AMC will present a proposal in the standing committee meeting today for the road widening. The VIP road from Airport Circle to Indira Bridge will be expanded to 60 meters, and the road from Indira Bridge Circle to Gandhinagar will be widened to 90 meters. After the proposal is approved in the standing committee, notices will be issued to people living in accommodations that are obstructing the road widening. The existing road is currently 45 meters wide in part of the stretch and 60 meters wide in some other parts of the stretch.
A total of 300 shops and accommodations are likely to be affected by the road widening. AMC had called for objections and received a total of 290 objections from residents of Shiv Shopping Center in Sardarnagar, Sardarnagar Township, and other areas. DeshGujarat
