A little girl in Rajkot plots fictitious story of her kidnap, make police busy

Rajkot: A girl plotted a story of her kidnapping, after which her mother approached police. Police concluded after questioning and CCTV footage that the girl had created fictitious story of her abduction because she didn’t want to go to tuition class. By the time police concluded that the girl had made a fiction-story of her kidnap, the police of entire city had got busy in CCTV footage checking, nakabandi and other tasks. Police had even approached the State police control room.
A 8-year old girl child from Popatpara area of city left home for tuition but returned after sometime and told her mother that she was abducted by three masked men in black color Thar jeep without number plate. She further told her mother that somehow she left the vehicle after hitting the abductors by stone and returned home. The girl child further told her mother that there was one more girl child also abducted and present in the same jeep.
The parents of the girl contacted police, after which questioning of girl child took place in presence of her parents. Police also checked CCTV footage to check whether any Thar jeep was on the route in given time-frame. During the questioning, the girl child admitted that she had made a fictitious account of her kidnapping as she didn’t want to go to tuition class. DeshGujarat
