Death due to heart attack unrelated to stray cattle capturing drive: CNCD department of AMC clarifies

Sabarmati: The Cattle Nuisance Control Department (CNCD) of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today clearly stated that the incident of the death of an old man due to a heart attack in the Vadaj area was unrelated to its stray cattle capturing drive.
CNCD in its note stated that its team was out at 7.15 am in the course of its ongoing drive. At Maldhari society in the Vadaj area, it seized fodder grass on sale and also captured one stray cattle. Unidentified persons gathered there and pushed cattle to internal roads. The team continued to do its job without any confrontation.
Later the CNCD team left for the Ranip, Sabarmati, and Chandkheda areas captured five cattle, and received news of one old man’s death due to a heart attack.
CNCD department has clearly stated that this death was unrelated to its drive as per prima facie observation as there was no incident of confrontation at that place during the drive.
Meanwhile, according to CNCD department, its teams captured 93 stray cattle today from different areas of the city as of 4 pm. DeshGujarat
