PM Modi likely to inaugurate AIIMS and Zanana Hospital in Rajkot in Oct

Rajkot: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi is likely to inaugurate the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Zanana hospital in Rajkot.
A 150-year-old Zanana hospital has been reconstructed at a cost of Rs. 100 crore. It will have 700 beds, 8 operation theatres, three layers of ICU, a milk bank, and other facilities.
Most of the clearances for operating the hospital were obtained. PGVCL has allotted a 2,000 kw high-tension power connection to the hospital. After some pending work and pending No Objection Certificates (such as the fire department), the hospital will be ready for inauguration at the hands of the Prime Minister.
In addition to this, a 150-bed IPD hospital is likely to be completed by the end of September. It is also likely to be inaugurated by PM Narendrabhai Modi anytime during or after the month of October. DeshGujarat
